Hi I'm Michelle Young I am the Sole accountant in the business and the business owner of Sunset Tax & Accounting in Kilcoy.
I started my own accounting practice in 2004. My first office was in Redland Bay Qld which I sold in 2013, for health reasons.
We Moved to the the lovely town of Kilcoy in November 2016, this is home, simply beautiful.
Internet and technology enables me to have clients anywhere. Local, intrastate or interstate, it doesn't matter we can help if you need us.

We don't mind in what format your bring your information to me in. Whether it be in shoe Box's ( but I will teach you a better way) or a ledger book or on spreadsheet or software such as Xero, Myob, Reckon, Quickbooks I can work with all. If you have a bookkeeper, happy to work along side them, if you need bookkeeping we are here to do that for you also.

Working with me this time around I have a team of registered bookkeepers that I can call upon to assist to meet your needs. They are based in a few areas, Kilcoy, Bundaberg and Brisbane.
They all contract to my business and work under my direction and guidance when needed, but they are all registered professionals, so if I can't do your bookkeeping personally, you will be in very good hands.

I am a sole practitioner. The only one that sees your financial/tax information is me. I have an administration assistants that work with me 3 days a weekto do the filing etc but your actual tax work is undertaken by no one else but me.
I electronically store any information that I must retain in a very secure cloud environment, that has so many levels of encryption it is mind blowing, very safe.
We use Hubdoc for document upload for those utilising accounting software and we have a secure upload of document facility via this site that enables you to get information to us securely.
